Wow, that is interesting, I would love to try a wine on tap! Jean

When we were in New Orleans, we saw another wine innovation- a wine bar that had about 100 bottles of wine on tap. They were pressure and temperature controlled. The neat thing was, you could buy them by the ounce. So, for about $2-$6 per ounce, you could taste wines that cost $60-$100 per bottle. They had a many varieties and price levels. Unfortunately, we didn't get to enjoy any...maybe next trip! Have you seen anything like this in NYC?

That's such a fabulous idea (and surprising you didn't try any!) I've only seen wine taps at a wine shop and this Italian cafe near work - but none that had anything close to 100 bottles.
